The Mackenzie Presbyterian University (Mackenzie University, Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie) supports online and distance degree learning.

It was founded in 1870 as the "American School." It has a prominent extension school, though it is difficult to locate information about it in English.

Mackenzie is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Brazil. Apart from its main campus in São Paulo, Mackenzie University has campuses in Barueri, Brasília, Campinas, Recife, and Rio de Janeiro for postgraduate and continuing education.
